1 in 4 of the working population currently have a conviction. Are you excluding up to 25% of the adult workforce from your hiring pool by not hiring anyone with a conviction?Learn more about how to safely and fairly hire people with criminal convictions and the positive effects you will have on the individual and society. Learn how to navigate the complex world of criminal records checks, understand what "spent" and "unspent" means, and tackle your own prejudices about people with convictions. These sessions delivered by Offploy's Training and Advocacy Manager, Rik, are based on Offploy's 8 years of experience working in this sector with employers and people with convictions.
This workshop has been funded through UKSPF in partnership with Westmorland & Furness Council.
