The Burns Night Dinner is a beloved tradition at Gordon's School, organised by the GSPA (Gordon's School Parent Association). This event stands as one of our most significant fundraisers of the year, offering parents and staff a wonderful opportunity to come together for an enjoyable evening dedicated to celebrating the life of Robert Burns. The festivities include partaking in traditional Scottish cuisine, a céilidh and, of course, being serenaded by a bagpiper! We will of course, also be running a bar with a selection of wine, fizz, spirits and whiskey.

With just 140 places available, tickets sell out fast so book early to avoid disappointment.

A highlight of the GSPA calendar, Burns Night is a sell-out, highly enjoyable evening. A Gordonian twist on a traditional Burns evening, where the school dining hall is transformed for fine dining, and an evening of dancing.

Our ceildh band with the help of a caller will help you through the steps so don’t worry if you’ve never danced before. You’ll leave the evening remembering how to do the Gay Gordon’s and wondering where you went wrong in the Reel of 8!

If you’re new to Gordon’s this is a great chance to meet other parents, you can book individual tickets or organise your own group and book a table together, maximum 10 to a table.
