The Shackleton Trio play captivating songs and fiery tunes that combine mandolin, fiddle, guitar and banjo with powerful three part harmonies. The unmistakable sound of The Shackleton Trio brings to life the stories of their native East Anglia, and beyond. The trio features Georgia Shackleton (fiddle, vocals), Aaren Bennett (guitar) and Nic Zuppardi (mandolin and banjo). Collectively the band draw influence from British, American and Scandinavian folk traditions.Adam Clark plays roots music with guitar, banjo and voice. After three decades of performing, recording and writing with various bands, exploring the rich traditions of American folk and bluegrass, West Africa, Gypsy Jazz, and his own songwriting, his focus is now on folk music with links to his native East Anglia and the wider British Isles. Expect varied repertoire that reflects this journey, performed with passion, improvisation and an eye for a singalong!
