Unseen Unheard 2025: Cardiff Screening

About
'Unseen Unheard: The untold breast cancer stories of Black Women in the UK' is written by trailblazing playwright, Naomi Denny. Following an impactful run at Theatre Peckham in 2023 and overwhelming support on its first regional tour last summer, a recording of the play is returning for further screenings across the UK.
The play is based on the real stories of six women from Black Women Rising. Set in real time on a normal evening, six women unravel their experiences of the abnormality that Black women experience through their diagnosis and invite us into their world with honesty and candor.
Each screening will also host a panel discussion facilitated by award-winning community champion Leanne Pero, founder and CEO of Black Women Rising.
In the interest of accessibility tickets are free of charge, however you can learn more about supporting Black Women Rising at the link below.
