Level 3 Award in Understanding the principles and practices of Assessment - 1 day only - available on Thursday 12th June or Saturday 14th June. A knowledge only award aimed at those beginning an assessor role and those who need to know about assessment practice but who are not practicing, such as those who wish to become assessors, quality assurance staff or managers.Level 3 Award in Assessing Competence in the Work Environment - 2 days - 12th and 13th June or 14th and 15th June. For assesors who asssess competence in a work environment which requires the use of the following assessment methods: observation, examining work products or outputs, oral questioning, discussion, use of witness testimony, learner statements and recognition of prior learning.
