About

This wonderful 100-strong choir, in association with The Soundhouse Organisation, are renowned for their original and adventurous collaborations with musicians and artists and have worked with the likes of Justin Currie, Blazin' Fiddles, Karine Polwart and Rachel Sermanni and have performed at many of Edinburgh's major venues. Their last performance of 2024 was to sing for Janey Godley as part of her funeral procession on the Royal Mile.

All are welcome to add their voice in creating something special. No previous singing experience or ability to read music is necessary. Just bring yourself, your voice and a dash of give-it-a-go.

Soundhouse Choir embarks on it's ninth year with a playful twist exploring working alongside poetry and spoken word. The choir have been invited to explore and create some examples, ahead of the formation of a new Scottish Poetry Choir.

Everyone is heard, friendships are forged and many laughs are had!
