Parents and alumni are invited to join Old Whitgiftian General Sir Peter Wall on Friday 21 March 2025 in Big School. There will be a drinks reception from 5.30pm and his talk will start at 6pm followed by a Q&A.Sir Peter retired as Chief of the British Army in 2015 following a full and active career. He has extensive experience in dealing with British and foreign governments at the highest levels and a proven track record in the strategic leadership of large and complex organisations. He is a recognised speaker on geopolitics and military command techniques in business.
His many other activities include being on the First World War Centenary Culture Committee, and Governor of The Royal Shakespeare Company. Sir Peter is also a Director of the General Dynamics Corporation and President of Combat Stress, the UK military mental health charity.
