sm^sher is the moniker of Stroud based artist and producer Imogen Mason. Her debut album Pit of Mine was released last year on unruly London label Scrawl, garnering praise from the likes of BBC 6Music, The Quietus, DIY, Stereogum, Electronic Sound and NTS. sm^sher's sonic world is impulsive, visceral and tapestried; weaving meditations on memory, grief, addiction, introversion and hope around industrial soundscape, fractured beats, drone-backed folk song and collage.Date
