Join former Sharks and England winger Mark Cueto and a panel of very special guests in central Manchester as we take a trip down British and Irish Lions memory lane in our second Business Club event of the season, sponsored, as ever, by Equals Money.An unprecedented six Sharks were part of the Lions squad in 2005, with Cueto joining Andy Titterell, Andrew Sheridan, Charlie Hodgson, Jason Robinson and Jason White on a daunting tour of New Zealand.
On 6th May you can hear from two of them, as Sharks legends Mark and Charlie are joined by 2005 Lions team manager Bill Beaumont and some current Lions to give us the inside scoop on rugby’s most famous touring side.
Find out what it means to be a Lion; what goes into the preparation for a six-week tour; how a squad made up of four different nations comes together to form an elite team; what qualities the players rely on to make sure they make the most of a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, AND what goes on off the pitch.
