Plot tour: work session and lunch
About
Join us for a short tour of the Plot site and project, followed by a volunteering session and a simple lunch at the farm.The Plot is a market garden growing organic fruit, veg, and herbs and training new growers. We run a certified organic system and grow on just over an acre at Old Holly Farm. We are a pioneer project, part of a long-term vision to bring back our veg/fruit production in North Lancs.
We’ll share our story, give you a tour, and you can also find out more about:
- How to become a crop-sharer and enjoy weekly produce from the farm.
- Support the initiative financially via the FoodFriends scheme.
- Volunteer at the Plot.
- Training on-site at the Plot and at other local growing sites.
After the tour (10-11am), you are welcome to join us for a volunteer work session (11-1pm) and a simple lunch (1pm) and chance to chat further.
