Spring Into Action: sustainable cooking on a budget

Hosted by Jamie Murphy and Harriet Phips from Lancaster Food Justice Partnership.A one-off cooking class, exploring cast, sustainability, and taste while gaining basic cooking skills and experience. Make Shepherdess Pie three ways, with minced meat, Quorn (or similar), and lentils. Using portable hob cookers, participants will get hands-on experience of cooking while exploring the financial cost, sustainability, and taste of each recipe.
This session is open to eight people only so people who feel they need more experience of practical cooking are encouraged to take part. All ingredients and equipment will be provided.
