Hugh Dixon Memorial Training Bursary
Mrs Liz King has made a generous donation to our show in the form of a grant in memory of her father Mr Hugh Dixon. This will be used to provide aspiring riders with training vouchers. Hugh founded Havelock Stud and produced some beautiful ponies. He was also very involved in training Pony Club teams, especially for the Prince Phillip Cup. We are delighted to remember him in this way. Riders will be chosen in the indoor arena from classes throughout the day – they may not be winners, but they will be deserving due to their determination or enthusiasm or resilience in a difficult situation. Any rider could be selected. Mrs Liz King is our Steward in the Indoor Arena and she will award two vouchers of £50 each at the end of the show day.
