A book club with a twist!If you enjoy reading and the social aspects of a book club but aren't interested in assigned reading, silent book club could be for you!
First part of the meeting is to socialise, get settled and have a cuppa if you like. Then the silence begins for an hour and people can enjoy reading in a shared space. After that hour, people can socialise more if they wish, browse and borrow a book or head straight out the door.
All readers are welcome — paper books, ebooks or audiobooks, poetry or prose, fiction or non-fiction... it's bring your own book!
