The Best of Guildford Hike

Join DG Outdoor Adventures on this lovely 5-and-a-half-mile circular walk encapsulating the best of the Guildford countryside.
We will trek along the River Wey, pass historic buildings, meander through ancient woodland and enjoy stunning views from our surrounding hills.
Start: 9am so please be there beforehand to check in
Meet: March Hare on Castle Hill next to Guildford Castle Grounds GU1 3SY.
The Walk will finish at the Royal Oak in Trinity Church Yard which is a beautiful and ancient bar with real ales and a selection of snack to behold.

Travel Note: Sydenham Road Car Park and Tunsgate Car Park are within 2 minutes walk of the meetup and The March Hare is roughly 15 minutes walk from Guildford Train Station.
Length: 5.5 miles
General Notes: Bring with you suitable clothes for the weather as well as comfortable walking shoes/boots.
Also make sure you have water/fluids and food for when we stop and admire the views.
Dogs are welcome on this hike but must be kept on a lead.
Finishing time for the walk is 13:00 hours at the very latest but please do note that depending on the pace of the whole group this could be finished earlier.
