Join Angus Walsh (Cumbria Woodlands rainforest lead) and Marion Brown (Rusland Horizons) for a walk in the ancient woodlands at Rusland Valley! Discover rainforest indicator species of moss, lichen, liverwort and fern.

You will will learn how woodland was managed in in one of Cumbria’s most wooded valleys, what constitutes temperate rainforest, and what issues are currently threatening the rare species which are found here.

Dogs are welcome, but must be on leads at all times.
