Caldy Open Gardens 2025 – Terms & Conditions
1. Tickets and Refund Policy
All tickets must be purchased in advance; no tickets will be available on the day of the event.
Tickets are non-refundable except in the event of cancellation by the organisers. Refunds will not be issued due to adverse weather or for any other reason unless the event is cancelled.
QR codes on tickets will be scanned upon entry. Any attempt to use duplicated or counterfeit tickets will result in denied entry.
2. Ticket Collection and Registration
Ticket collection points will be located at:
The junction of Croft Drive East and Barton Hey Road.
Croft Drive West (recommended for those arriving from the West Kirby direction).
Signs will be in place on the day to direct attendees to the appropriate collection point.
Upon registration, each ticket holder will receive a wristband, which will serve as their entry pass for each garden. A programme containing a map, garden locations, event information, refreshment sites, and WC locations will also be provided.
3. Event Cancellation and Notification Policy
In the unlikely event of cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances, all ticket holders will be notified via email, and updates will be posted on our official website and social media channels.
4. Supervision and Safety
Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times throughout the event. This is essential for safety, especially around water features.
Dogs are not permitted at the event, with the exception of assistance dogs. No other exceptions will be made.
Please be aware that some gardens may not be accessible for wheelchairs or prams. Accessibility information will be indicated on the event map.
5. Code of Conduct
We kindly ask all attendees to respect the gardens, volunteers, and other guests. Any behaviour deemed disruptive or disrespectful may result in removal from the event.
6. Photography and Media Use
Photography for personal use is permitted, but please be respectful of other guests' privacy. By attending, you agree to any photographs or video taken for event promotional purposes.
7. Parking and Community Considerations
Caldy is a small village with limited parking. Visitors are encouraged to park responsibly, be mindful of residents, and avoid obstructing driveways or paths.
All visitors are kindly asked to take any litter or waste home with them, as this is a community event.
8. Lost Property
The organisers are not responsible for any lost or misplaced items. Please check all belongings before leaving each garden.
9. Emergency Procedures
In case of emergency, please follow instructions from event staff and volunteers. First aid assistance will be available on site.
10. Liability and Safety
This event is organised by volunteers as a charity fundraiser. While every reasonable precaution has been taken to ensure safety, all attendees are responsible for their own well-being throughout the event.
11. Agreement to Terms
By purchasing this ticket, you agree to these terms and conditions. It is the responsibility of each attendee to read and understand these terms. Failure to do so does not absolve attendees of their responsibilities.
12. This is a charity event. Refunds will not be issued for any other reason unless the event has to be cancelled for unforeseen reasons by the organisers. Any refund will usually be paid using the same method you used to buy the tickets within 10 days following the date of the event.
The organisers do not accept responsibility for personal safety, vehicles, or belongings. Parking is at the vehicle owner’s risk, and attendees are advised to exercise caution in all areas.
