The exact start time of the walk will be confirmed on the day, as this will depend on the official guide's assessment that morning.

Owing to the nature of this walk the event may be cancelled should it be deemed unsafe. In the event of the walk being cancelled, your ticket money will instead be treated as a donation to Bendrigg Trust (registered charity 508540).

Dogs are welcome. They are your responsibility at all times. Should they 'run off' you must NOT follow them. The official guide is responsible for your safety on the sands. You must listen to all his instructions before and during the walk. If you need any assistance during the walk please make this known to the official marshals who will be wearing special T-shirts.
