Joanna Fozard - PTA Chair

TryBooking was recommended to Joanna by the local Penrith Scout group. She was looking for an online platform to help manage the fundraising events she organises on behalf of two local schools.

As a self-confessed TryBooking ‘enabler’ Joanna has been an ambassador for TryBooking for several years now. Her savvy and imaginative events cleverly demonstrate the flexibility of TryBooking which works wonderfully for PTA groups, school associations and ‘Friends of’ organisations.

To give an idea about some of Joanna’s fantastic TryBooking events, they include the popular Second-Hand Uniform Shop which has clear photos of each item available, an annual tabled Chocolate Bingo event, not to mention the various numbers club draws, raffles and school merchandise events she manages.

TryBooking is completely free to use for free events but when you are charging your customers, we give you complete flexibility as to who pays the fees. Whether you choose to pay them yourself as an event organiser or pass them onto purchasers, or a combination of both, you can manage your fee structure quickly and easily from within your TryBooking account. 

Joanna has found her TryBooking experience to be ‘fantastic’ and describes the Customer Service team as ‘always knowledgeable and helpful.’ Her favourite feature are the reports and with over 40 to choose from we totally agree. She says the low fees compared to competitors make it more beneficial for the PTA to use than other platforms and ‘people like using it too’.
