After finding out about TryBooking at a schools’ conference before the pandemic, Shirley Bouwer says it’s taken a while to get up and running due to the disruption following COVID-19. Shirley was looking for a booking platform that could manage ticketing for their school performance of Made in Dagenham, but she also organised parent evenings and other school-related events.

It hosts a range of how-to articles, videos and guides to help make events the best they can be. We appreciate that it is not always convenient to call or email, as Shirley found, and have found that our Learning Centre helps to answer most quick questions.

Shirley initially opened her TryBooking account to help with, ‘theatre style tickets with individual seat booking, as that's the feature that was most important to us, but the easy processing of payments and the myriad of excellent reports has been the big surprise winner for me.’ Coupled with the fact that TryBooking had been recommended by other schools, she was also pleased to find that we charge lower fees than many of our competitors.
